This tutorial combines our tote bag blanks with felt appliqué.
Instructions:
Cut out your flowers from felt.
Using fabric glue, glue your felt pieces in place on the tote – place glue in center of felt so you don’t have to stitch through the fabric glue.
Once glue is dry, place your tote in an embroidery hoop centering your design. Make sure the tote and handles are pulled out of the way for easy stitching.
Using three strands of coordinating embroidery floss, stitch around each felt piece.
Protect stitches inside bag with fusible interfacing.
Iron your tote and enjoy!
